Technology is important because the world is turning into a world that revolves around technology so we need to be able to use it. The last 5 years technology has changed very much.5 years ago you couldn't even get Internet on your phone but now it is possible, that's amazing.In the future i could see us having computers that can shrink up into cellular phone, vice versa. I use an online book for geometry homework at home. For personal use i go on social networks, search information I want to know. In the future i will probably have to use a spreadsheet at my job, we learned this in online A. The most practical thing i will use in life from this class will probably be using  Microsoft Word. I will probably never use delirious again. My favorite tool to use is iGoogle because it really is a pretty cool sites with lots of things to do. My least favorite thing to create was my delicious because I see no point for me in it.

cyber bully

I thought this movie was a good way of showing how cyber bullying can effect someone in a bad way. This truly showed what could happen if this really happened. I think this was overall a good movie. Some similarities were that some victims actually do try to commit suicide. Some differences are that in real life the victim would not stand up to the bully, And the victim and the bully would probbally never be friends again. Yes the girl did try to commit suicide, like others that tried.

podcast

I listened to a podcast about how to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder. It basically said that it is very hard to beat the Thunder but really all you have to do is stop their 2 best players Kevin Durant, and Russel Westbrook. I did like learning this way better because I didn't have to read anything all I did was just listen. I think people do this because its way easier than typing everything out all you have to do is talk. I believe that this information was opinion based but it still helps.

voki vs blaberize

voki and blabberize are both very similar sites. Voki is basically more animated while blabberize is a actual picture that just has fake lips move. Blabberize was easier in my opinion and more enjoyable too. I would use blabberize again because i thought that making the mouths was fun and made the people look funny. For history class you could make a avatar of say Abraham Lincoln and you could have him describe his life.

The Samsung galaxy tab 2 is the first tablet that is under the ICS software (ice cream sandwiches). The ICS is also known as Android 4.0. It is the latest edition of the android systems. It basically is the same as Android 3.0 except faster. Its competitor will be the I pad 3 when it is released. It will be realased in the UK in March.

The most important aspects of our online safety is to be safe at all times. Do not talk to strangers works for the computer not just outside. If you feel like a link or person is suspicious don't click on it it or don't talk to them. If you are confronted with this tell an adult right away. Some dangers are viruses, and people who can hurt you in many ways. Amy's Choice

This is about a girl named Amy that chatted up this guy on the Internet. She knew his real age the whole time they were chatting. He acted like he was there for her when he really wasn't.then one day he came to her house. One of the other people shes chatted called her and told her. she told her mom she was going on a walk but really ran away with the man. the police caught them 2 days later. The man was put in jail, and it wasn't the first time he had done this.

netiquette

Netiquette is a set of rules for behaving properly online. It effects every user that uses the Internet in some way. Good netiquette is when you don't flame out on people, and don't correct people rudely. you should also treat others when you see there feces not just the computer screen, and be nice. Bad netiquette is when you go off on people (flaming). Be a jerk to people for no reason.

What is a social network

Social networking is a where you go on a website that has many other members and you communicate with them either through posts, pictures, or comments. It basically lets you talk and communicate with people about what ever you want. A digital footprint is basically where you put something on the site and it could possibly stay there forever. Even sometimes when you delete it, it stays on there. That's why you should be careful of what you put on there. Social networking affects digital foot printing because everyone can see that thing you put on the site forever. The site may not let you remove it either.

It may say copyright but it is wrong

Copyright is when you copy, steal, or take someones work without permission. The most common copyright is probably when students do projects, or when people download music. When students use someone elses work they sometimes froget to cite their sources. This is a form of copyright. When people download music off of websites or programs for free that is illegal. You are basically stealling from the artist that made that song. Sometimes other artists take the tune to a song and write a new song to the song. This is also a form of copyright. The most famous case of that was probbally the Vanilla Ice vs Queen case. Ice took the tune of the song and just changed the lyrics without Queen's consent which is copyright.

Limewire VS RIAA

Limewire is a website where you can download music free of charge. When the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) found out about it they immediately sued Limewire for copyright infringement. The lawsuit began in 2006 and ended in May of 2010. The RIAA won the case but did not terminate Limewire all together. The RIAA wants to join with other groups to terminate it all together.

Research project

I think my presentation went very well. I did not barf when i went up there so that is a plus. My favorite part of the project was learning about all the other countries. My least favorite part was probably the bro cure because I do not enjoy making brochures what so ever. I learned that Ireland has many old tombs and towns to visit. I think that Mrs. Fowler should do different research projects maybe about a state or 1 attraction.

My high point this year was when I went to cross country camp. It was by far the best week of my life. I can't explain how much fun it was. My low point was when school started. It just took so much out of me that I didn't know if I could go on. If anything that I would change this year it would be that I would have a better first trimester. The first trimester I had was all blow off classes so I should have had more fun. For 2012 I plan to Brighten my day up more and focus on the achievements in life. If I had $100,000 I would probably buy myself a nice car and put the rest in the bank.
